28th edition of the Cascais Surf Programme for Employability
The Cascais Surf for Employability Programme aims to promote the employability of young people and adults who are unemployed or looking for their first job. Surfing is the basic tool that, combined with others, will support participants in designing and achieving their personal/professional goals, enhancing the activity and technical know-how of the various possible work contexts in the field of surfing.
The programme takes place in person at Nova SBE in Carcavelos and the surfing lessons at Carcavelos Beach
It includes the following activities over 5 weeks:
- Weekly surfing and yoga lessons;
- Individual coaching โ support for personal and professional development;
- Group coaching โ support for personal and professional development;
- Training in the areas of: Economics, Accounting and Finance, Communication and Marketing, Active Job Search, Management and Planning, Entrepreneurship.
The five-week cycle ends with two days of skills assessment and differentiated experiences in a session called Deep in the Ocean (to be defined). After the end of the programme, participants can also enjoy 16 weeks of mentoring to develop their project.
