Description

The old building of the Guardhouse of the Condes de Castro Guimarães Palace was built at the beginning of the 20th century.

The architecture of the house is typical of "Portuguese House" style, promoted by the followers of Raul Lino's work.

Currently, it houses the collections of Duarte Pinto Coelho and the headqurters of the Barcelona Conde Chair of the Duques de Sória Foundation of Hispanic Science and Culture in Portugal.
