Seabirds – From the Skies to the Sea, Conquering Land Along the Way!, workshop at the Museu do Mar
On International Migratory Bird Day, October 10, the Museu do Mar Rei D. Carlos invites families and children to participate in the workshop “Seabirds – From the Skies to the Sea, Conquering Land Along the Way!”
Species such as the shearwater, the barnacle goose, and the common tern illustrate the diversity and specialization of these birds, which are perfectly adapted to a life spent flying over the waves or diving in search of food.
In this activity, participants will learn more about these travelers, who are essential to the balance of marine ecosystems! The workshop will also address the challenges these birds face today, such as pollution and global warming, and explore how we can improve our daily lives to ensure the well-being of our oceans and their inhabitants.
