Nature for All | Quinta do Pisão
Discover the new “Nature for All” project at Quinta do Pisão, which aims to counteract a series of barriers that restrict access to nature for visitors with temporary or permanent limitations.
The circular route includes 6 sensory stations, which describe the biodiversity and works of art at the Quinta in bilingual and Braille, and include wooden guides to accompany the route, enabling autonomous access for people with reduced mobility and partial or total blindness.
Inside the Casa da Cal Interpretation Center you'll find tactile flooring for better orientation of autonomous visitors with partial or total blindness, audio guides for visiting the Quinta and Braille translations of the contents of the permanent exhibition.
The Quadrix are adapted vehicles that allow access to the most rugged natural terrain where a conventional reduced mobility vehicle cannot reach. They are available to rent free of charge and exclusively for people with reduced mobility. You can book them at Casa da Cal between 10h00 and 17h00.
