Nature for All | Quinta do Pisão
Discover the new ‘Nature for All’ project at Quinta do Pisão, which aims to overcome a series of barriers that limit access to nature for visitors with temporary or permanent disabilities.
The circular route includes six sensory stations, which describe the biodiversity and works of art at the farm in bilingual and Braille, and include wooden guides along the route, enabling independent access for people with reduced mobility and partial or total blindness.
Inside the Casa da Cal Interpretation Centre, you will find tactile flooring to better guide independent visitors with partial or total blindness and a Braille translation of the permanent exhibition's content.
Quadrix are adapted vehicles that allow access to the most rugged natural terrain where a conventional reduced mobility vehicle cannot reach. They are free to hire and exclusively for people with reduced mobility. You can book one at Casa da Cal between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m..
