The Saloia House: Memory and Identity
In this 42nd edition of EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS, dedicated this year to the theme of โArchitectural Heritageโ, don't miss the opportunity to learn more about Casal Saloio de Outeiro de Polima, on a perfect afternoon to recognize and appreciate the saloia culture. We look forward to seeing you there, so we can celebrate our heritage together!
In addition to the guided tour of this old rural dwelling, which has undergone extensive renovation and conversion into a museum, you can participate (upon prior registration) in a creative ceramics workshop, where you will create your own object using traditional manual techniques. The program also includes a concert featuring traditional Portuguese songs.
