Nature and Others: Painting Exhibition by Carlos Ferreira
This exhibition is a sample of the various works the artist has developed over the last few years. He began with oil on canvas. Watercolor came later, through his graphic diary, which he always carried with him wherever he went. This habit allowed him to draw and paint on a daily basis, cultivating a constant practice of experimenting with ideas, shapes and colors. Many of these experiences would later serve as inspiration for the creation of larger works.
In recent years he has adopted a freer technical approach, open to "error", gradually moving away from Realism in favor of a more spontaneous and intuitive expression.
Kaรญko is the pseudonym of Carlos Ferreira, an artist born in Venezuela in 1965. His work reveals a deep inspiration in nature, where warm colors play a central and defining role in his style.
