'LIFE Pollinators' exhibition
Pollinating insects are one of the most important animals on our planet due to their role in pollination, ensuring the fertilisation of flowers, the propagation of plant genes and the production of fruit and seeds. They are also important bioindicators of air quality and very susceptible to any changes in their ecological niches.
For this reason, they are used in the LIFE ResLand project to check whether the actions carried out during this project have any impact on the variety of species observed.
The LIFE ResLand project aims to create a resilient landscape adapted to climate change in the Cascalense area of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Come and learn more about this project!
