Galeão do Sal “Estou Para Ver” tours

Boat trips aboard the Galeão do Sal Estou Para Ver are back as part of the cultural program of the Museum District.
The Galeão sails through the waters of the municipality towards the Guia Lighthouse or the Praia das Avencas nature reserve, offering a privileged view of the coastline.
During the trip, participants learn about the days of fishing with seine nets and salt transportation.
During these trips, it is possible to participate in steering and navigation maneuvers, from hoisting the sails to turning the ship.
Activities are dependent on weather and safety conditions and are subject to cancellation or change.
The activity is free of charge.
Minimum weight of participants: 12 kg.
Each household may register a maximum of 4 people.
