Guided tour "Monte Estoril: A territory of health and leisure"
On this visit, held as part of the celebrations for the National Day of Historic Centers, we will rediscover Monte Estoril, characterized as a healthy refuge, with a cozy beach of ocean waters and gentle winds that purify the soul and revive the body. From its inception, the town was chosen by cosmopolitan society to establish its hotels and chalets, electing it as a place of leisure. It was also the residence of Queen Maria Pia and a refuge for political exiles during World War II.
The winding streets, the carved stone walls that surround the houses enveloped by the lush vegetation of the gardens, the casino, the thermal baths, the hotels and the cafes transform the iconic Monte Estoril into a spectacular Portuguese Riviera, with a unique atmosphere that takes us back to another time.
