Visit the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum
The Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum is the oldest museum in Cascais.
In 1924, the Count of Castro Guimarães bequeathed the house and all its artistic and bibliographical contents to the town of Cascais in his will, so that it could become a municipal museum and public library. It was inaugurated on July 12, 1931.
This visit, guided by the Cultural and Educational Service, reveals the history of the collection, the palace and the residents of this space, one of the most emblematic cultural facilities in the municipality.
