"Feminine Traits, from outline to content: the woman revealed in images"
As part of the International Women's Day celebrations, the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum is hosting a guided tour dedicated to the presence of women in the museum's collections. The tour explores representations of women in works of art, as well as the different social, symbolic, and historical roles associated with them.
This tour proposes a reflection on how women have been portrayed throughout history, highlighting narratives of identity, power, invisibility, and female protagonism, contributing to a more critical and inclusive reading of cultural heritage.
