"Musical Encounters of Freedom", at the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum
The Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum celebrates Freedom Day with a series of meetings with first-cycle students from public and private schools in the municipality.
On April 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2026, students will go to the Museum's cloister to perform musical pieces. The initiative aims to create an exchange of realities between school institutions and foster in younger generations the habit and enjoyment of visiting museums. The event is open to the public, with free admission.
This week, the Museum's cloister will be decorated with carnations made by the participating schools.
