Exhibition: The Mosaic of the Manor House at the Roman “Villa” of Freiria
At this event, held as part of the celebrations for International Day for Monuments and Sites, the various stages of the project to create a museum exhibit for the mosaic of the manor house at the Roman villa of Freiria will be presented. The program, consisting of four lectures, will address the moment of its identification and the subsequent archaeological work, as well as the conservation and restoration efforts on the mosaic floor, with a view to implementing new visitor support structures and enhancing this significant archaeological site.
