30 Years, 30 Artists
Over the course of three decades, the D. Luís I Foundation has established itself as a place of convergence—between the local and the international, between tradition and the contemporary, and between different generations and artistic practices. This exhibition celebrates this unifying role, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to artistic creation and to building audiences, whilst highlighting the importance of art as a space for reflection and sharing. 30 Years, 30 Artists is, therefore, more than a retrospective: it is an exercise in active memory. By linking past and present, the Foundation looks to the future, renewing its role as a platform for dialogue and experimentation within the national and international art scene.
