In the early morning of April 25, 2026, at 5:00 AM, Cascais invites you to celebrate the April 1974 Revolution at the Santo António da Barra Fort, transforming this historic pre-revolutionary site into a stage for Culture, Freedom, and Artistic Creation.
In a unique event, Cuca Roseta joins the audience for a concert that promises to become a moment etched in collective memory.
At 5:00 AM, as night slowly gives way to the first light of day, the audience will be enveloped in a rare atmosphere: the silence of dawn by the sea, the cool breeze that crosses the fort's walls, and the emotion of seeing music fill a space laden with historical significance.
It will be an intense sensory and emotional experience, where place, time, and atmosphere merge to create an unrepeatable moment, a true awakening of freedom celebrated at sunrise.
With these celebrations in the year that Cascais is the European Capital of Democracy, it aims to value its cultural identity among its residents and visitors, reinforcing the sense of belonging.
