Presentation of the book “Tanto Mar: discovering the best beaches in Portugal”
As part of a series of meetings with surfer writers, the presentation of the book “Tanto Mar: à descoberta das melhores praias de Portugal” (So Much Sea: Discovering Portugal's Best Beaches) will be attended by authors Pedro Adão e Silva (text) and João Catarino (illustrations).
Two surfers (and a dog) share their memories of the trip of a lifetime, in a “bread loaf” van, in which they ‘traveled’ as close as possible to the sea, along the beaches of Portugal, driven only by the “sublime triumph of the pleasure principle.” Pedro Adão e Silva was born in 1974, in the city of Lisbon. He has a degree in Sociology and a PhD in Social and Political Sciences. João Catarino was also born in Lisbon in 1965. He has a degree in Communication Design. Their passion for surfing and adventure brought them together in “Tanto Mar.”
