Music and Nature | New Year's Concert by the Cascais Symphony Orchestra
Nature has always been a source of inspiration for artists, painters, poets, and composers. No one remains indifferent when observing a beautiful landscape, listening to birds singing, or hearing the whisper of running water by the riverbank.
Many of us are amazed by the colors of spring flowers and the autumn hues of tree leaves. Composers transpose this reality onto musical scores, where notes and melodies transport us on unforgettable journeys and experiences.
Man's concern for the future of our world and the damage caused to nature are the motivation and theme of the 2026 New Year's concert. With the invaluable help of Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Strauss, and other composers, we will show our love for Mother Nature and our concern for her future and preservation.
