Performance: "What Do My Parents Do When They're Not With Me?"
What happens in parentsโ lives that children never get to see? What do children imagine their parents do when they are apart? Who do they meet? What activities fill their days? Is there any connection between what children imagine and what actually happens in their parentsโ lives? Many parents say they go to work, but is that really true? And, after all, what is work and what is it for?
Presented by the Library to mark World Library Day (1 July), this playful and engaging performance seeks to explore these questions and uncover what happens during that long stretch of time when families are not together.
