30th Edition of the Cascais Surf for Employability Program
The Cascais Surf for Employability Programme aims to enhance the employability of young people and adults who are unemployed or seeking their first job.
Surfing serves as the programmeโs core tool and, combined with other methodologies, supports participants in designing and achieving their personal and professional goals, while showcasing the activity and technical expertise associated with the diverse career opportunities within the surfing sector.
The programme takes place in person at NOVA SBE in Carcavelos, with surf lessons held at Carcavelos Beach.
Over the course of five weeks, participants will take part in:
โข Weekly Surf and Yoga classes;
โข Individual Coaching: support for personal and professional development;
โข Group Coaching: support for personal and professional development;
โข Capacity-building sessions in the areas of Economics, Accounting and Finance, Communication and Marketing, Active Job Search, Management and Planning, and Entrepreneurship.
The five-week programme concludes with two days dedicated to reviewing skills acquired and unique experiential activities in a session called โDeep in the Oceanโ (to be confirmed).
Following the completion of the programme, participants may also benefit from 16 weeks of mentoring to support the development of their projects.
Target audience: Individuals aged 18 and over who are unemployed.
