Let's Build a Zoetrope! - Creative animation workshop
Description
To pay tribute to the seventh art, the Children's and Youth Library is offering a Creative Animation Workshop.
We will explore the concept of classic cinema, creating the illusion of animation from drawings set in motion, with the help of a toy from the Victorian era (19th century): the zoetrope. This device simulates animated images and is considered one of the precursors of animation and cinema.
Come and build a zoetrope and create your first animated film!
For families with children aged 7 and over.
