Ecology illustration - Stories about the beginning of life
This workshop will begin with a staged reading of naturalist David Attenborough's book 'Life on Earth'. We will recreate with images the narrative of the evolution of life, from the first unicellular organisms to complex fish and reptiles. Like a maritime fable that unfolds in scientific or fictional episodes, we will cross the timeline to arrive at a present that threatens the natural life of a future in the sea and on land. Based on the "do to think" dynamic, we will create, reflect, act and materialize illustrated solutions/manifestos in an infinite artist's book format. Each participation corresponds to a page, which is also a cell, of a multicellular collective organism/book. At the end, everyone can take home their illustrated cell and start a new organism/book.
