Volunteer Festival
This event aims to bring together volunteering agents and the community in a moment of tribute, learning, information sharing, and socializing but also of celebration with the following objectives:
- To give visibility to Volunteer Promoting Organizations (VPOs) and their projects, aiming at recruiting volunteers for them.
- To honor the work carried out by VPOs and the volunteers who collaborate with them, making the community aware of the importance of their work.
- To promote in Cascais a culture of volunteering as an exercise of active and supportive citizenship, promoting a socially fairer, more cohesive community with a better quality of life for its citizens, valuing volunteering as a collective movement with the power of social transformation.
