A Neighborhood at Hand Scale | Free Exploration Kit
In partnership with Fantasy Craft, we have created four kits for the reconstruction of the Museum Quarter in miniature.
The challenge consists of building part of the façade of some of Cascais' museums and cultural spaces out of cardboard and gluing them together.
Once the façade is up, it can be painted or coated as each artist's creativity dictates.
The four models can be seen as a collection of places on the scale of the hand or, with the younger ones in mind, as a kind of mini-scenario for new games.
This is a Cultural and Educational Service activity aimed at all audiences over the age of six.
The kits are available at the reception desks of the Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, the Centro Cultural de Cascais, the Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães and the Museu do Mar Rei D. Carlos.
