Inscriptions, signs, weaves, will be traced and incised by each participant on the linoleum surfaces, the notions of positive and negative space will be put into practice based on the book entitled ‘Hamonshu: A Japanese Book of Wave and Ripple Designs (1903)’, with each participant being set the challenge of finding waves and spirals in the works of Paula Rego exhibited at the Museum.

> ‘The Skin of Things’ | 5th and 8th March 2025 (registration until 2nd March)
How do you store textures, collect them and mix them together? This is the question that will animate this workshop centred on the soft varnish technique, suitable for printing textures. Participants will be challenged to find different types of textures present in Paula Rego's works. The results will be reaction-response at each meeting.

> ‘Capes and Bodies’ | 9th and 12th April 2025 (registration until 6th April)
Based on the figurative works of Paula Rego, each participant will be asked to choose a figure-character and parts of their clothing. This will be followed by cut-outs, as if they were moulds, in fabric to be printed with shapes cut out in linoleum, repeated and interspersed in a game of rhythms and patterns.
