Handicraft exhibition “The World of Children's Literature: Meeting Literary Characters”
Immerse yourself in the magical world of children's literature at this enchanting exhibition of handmade rag dolls depicting emblematic characters from various tales.
The works on display were handmade by artist Sofia Branco (MariUp), who drew inspiration for her creations from the world of children. The exhibition reveals a collection of valuable, playful and educational lessons that aims to promote the richness and importance of children's storytelling and the art behind the creation of characters that have captivated readers from different generations.
To celebrate International Children's Book Day (which falls on April 2), Sofia Branco will be running a creative workshop for families on April 5, from 15:00 to 17:00.
