Workshop visit "What's that smell?! - Perfume Laboratory"
In the 17th century, among soldiers and sailors, kings, queens and princesses, hygiene habits and possibilities were few. Water was seen as a vehicle for spreading pests and other diseases and was generally rejected. Smells were disguised by using natural aromas and fragrances. Vanilla, cinnamon or flowers, almost anything was used to flavor the "perfume". This is an activity of the Cultural and Educational Service. Shall we try it out?
