Talk with... Celso Santos: Traditional bread-making processes”
In the voice of miller and baker Celso Santos, the advantages, challenges and cultural barriers associated with the traditional techniques of producing and consuming the wheat of yesteryear will be presented.
The talk, which will include an approach to the stages of production of this ancient wheat, such as growing, harvesting, milling and baking flour, will be enriched with a demonstration of hand kneading with mother dough, including the fermentation process.
Join us at the Cascais Countryside Interpretation Center and take part in this moment of sharing, where you can relive memories of life and traditions and strengthen our identity.
