Show THE POEM THEY ARE AND LEAVE US
Taking a contemporary look at interviews with legends from the Portuguese art scene, this artistic object aims to reflect on traditions from the past, the present and possibilities for (re)innovation in the future. Crossing theater and cinema, integrating real experiences, it explores urgent themes for today's society such as freedom, patriarchy and prejudice. The actors are poems, they are heritage, they are tradition and they question what can be a utopia or the dystopias of a society.
This action is part of the return to the community of young João Pires, who won a Cascais Jovem Talent Promotion Grant in the November/December 2024 phase.
