‘Pathways and Creative Syntheses’, temporary exhibition at the Museu Condes de Castro Guimarães
The temporary exhibition ‘Creative Paths and Syntheses’ presents the continuity projects developed throughout the 2023-24 school year, through a collaborative methodology between the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum, local schools and families, the Portuguese Music Museum - Casa Verdades de Faria and the Estoril Arts Academy and with home-schooled children aged between 1 and 12 and their families.
Dedicated to addressing themes that are essential for reflecting on contemporaneity, these cultural and educational projects encouraged the development of skills such as observing, feeling, imagining and fantasising, promoting the ability to interpret and create.
Experimenting with artistic materials gave rise to messages through constructed, sometimes surprising images that, when interconnected, overcame contradictions and achieved balance and aesthetic harmony.
