Presentation of the book “Caderneta de Mar” (Sea Notebook), written by João Meneses
As part of a series of meetings with writer-surfers, the presentation of the book “Caderneta de Mar” will be attended by the author, João Meneses, for whom surfing is a form of art in motion.
Previously scattered, forty-four chronicles, which talk about adventures, friendships, dreams, tears, and smiles, always against the backdrop of the blue ocean, now find a new home in “Caderneta de Mar.”
João Meneses was born in January 1977 in the city of Lisbon. He has a degree in Sociology and a postgraduate degree in Management. He started playing in the waves at the age of 12 and took it more seriously from the age of 14. Since then, the sea has been his home.
