CASCAISLAB STUDIO
OPEN CALL - APPLICATION DEADLINE: January 31st
The Cascaislabstudio art studio, managed and promoted by the Cascais and Estoril Parish Council, aims to support young visual artists in developing their practice by providing them with an open, dynamic space for experimentation, research and artistic creation in an environment where they can share experiences with other artists, while also involving the local community. At the same time, it seeks to fill a gap by giving artists from the parish of Cascais and Estoril and the municipality of Cascais the opportunity to work in a space located in the historic center of Cascais, close to museums, libraries and other architecturally relevant facilities.
The workshops are aimed at young emerging national and international artists (aged 20 to 35) at the start of their careers, with a minimum of a degree or a final year degree in Fine Arts (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Fine Arts, Art and Multimedia) and who develop their work in the following areas: painting, drawing, installation and photography. Applications are accepted from young people graduating this year.
