Exhibition ‘Coastal Dynamics and Natural Risks: Earthquakes, Tsunamis and Erosion’
Coastal zones, areas of great natural dynamism, face risks such as earthquakes, tsunamis, erosion and extreme meteorological phenomena. Understanding these phenomena is crucial to mitigating impacts and promoting resilience. This exhibition highlights the importance of monitoring, prevention and adaptation to protect these regions.

In this workshop, children and young people are invited to explore the fascinating world of the coastal zone through didactic and interactive activities. With Bafureira beach as a backdrop, we'll learn in a simple way how tides work, how waves form, what coastal erosion is and why cliffs require special care. An opportunity to observe, question and better understand the natural processes that shape our coastline, promoting knowledge, curiosity and awareness of coastal preservation.
