Creative workshop with fabric scraps
International Intangible Cultural Heritage Day will be celebrated with a commemoration of ancient memories and knowledge.ย
In this workshop, led by Sรญlvia Lanรงa from CASA-Laboratรณrio de atividades criativas, we will (re)discover the tradition of hand sewing, transforming fabric scraps into true works of art. Through the creation of bags and other unique items, each participant will be able to explore different combinations of colors, textures, and patterns, giving shape to pieces full of personality.
In addition to being a craft activity, this experience is also an invitation to sustainability: forgotten fabrics are given a new lease of life, avoiding waste and reinforcing the importance of reuse. Between threads and stitches, each participant will have the opportunity to develop their creativity, share knowledge, and preserve the timeless art of handmade crafts.
