Musitânia: a journey through 20th-century Portuguese music
Description
Musitânia: a journey through 20th-century Portuguese music is a recent musical project that aims to present an overview of Portuguese popular music from A [Adriano] to Z [Zeca].
Combining the guitar, piano, accordion, violin, and acoustic bass of four musicians, the concert revisits songs that marked the second half of the 20th century by essential composers.
The performance is by Luís de Freitas Branco (vocals, guitar); António Eustáquio (piano, accordion); José Sá Machado (violin) and Manuel Mota (acoustic bass).
