“Encontro Sério” (Serious Encounter), concert by OCCO - Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra
Music is a serious matter. The great masters of the Vienna School: Mozart and his masterpiece for wind ensemble, the Gran Partita, and Beethoven's Serioso Quartet, arranged by another great name from Vienna, Gustav Mahler.
This two-part concert highlights the technical and interpretative demands of the two ensembles, which are essential for the artistic development of any orchestra in the world
On Saturday afternoon, you can also attend the Portuguese premiere of A. Lebrun's oboe concerto, performed by the young Italian Carlo Cesaraccio.
