Adopt a Guild in the Community Garden at Nova SBE
The “Adopt a Guild in our Community Garden at Nova SBE” program invites community members to take responsibility for a guild in the garden. A guild is a small ecological area consisting of a tree and the plants that grow within a certain diameter around it, forming a collaborative mini-ecosystem inspired by the principles of permaculture. Each guild will have up to two responsible caregivers and will be named after its caregiver(s). Caregivers commit to monitoring and caring for their guild throughout the year, with the support of a practical manual and direct monitoring by the team responsible for the garden. The program officially begins on April 18, with a mandatory Introduction to Permaculture workshop, which will take place in the garden between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Participation in the workshop has a one-time fee of €7, applicable to those who register as guild caretakers.
