Know It to Preserve It Exhibition
The exhibition “Understanding to Preserve” forms part of the annual theme dedicated to raising awareness of beaches and their ecosystems. Developed in partnership with the Vasco da Gama Aquarium, this exhibition presents a representative selection of Atlantic and Mediterranean marine species typical of the Portuguese coastline and, therefore, of the Cascais coast.
By highlighting local marine biodiversity, the exhibition aims to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems, promoting knowledge as the basis for protecting this natural heritage, which is essential for present and future generations.
