Cascais Fest for Peace
Cascais Fest kicks off on 19 September at Carcavelos Beach, with an edition dedicated to peace.
This is a new festival organised by Cascais Municipal Council that brings together culture, citizenship and participation around important causes. Under the slogan “For Peace”, the event features Father Guilherme – internationally known as “Padre DJ” and one of the most recognised Portuguese figures on the electronic music scene today – as its ambassador and headline act.
Organised by the Municipality in the year that Cascais is the European Capital of Democracy, the festival invites the whole community to celebrate values such as inclusion, respect and coexistence.
In addition to Padre Guilherme’s performance, the festival will also feature concerts by HMB, the Gospel Collective and DJ Disi.
With free admission and a special area reserved for holders of the Viver Cascais card, Cascais Fest aims to establish itself as a flagship event in the municipality, transforming Carcavelos Beach into a venue for coming together, sharing and celebrating a value that unites all people: Peace.
