European Heritage Days: Behind the scenes of the ocean – the collections of the King Domingos Carlos Museum of the Sea
What do a bird that has travelled thousands of kilometres, a fish that triples in size and a sea lion that once lived in Cascais have in common? On this tour of the reserves, we’ll take a behind-the-scenes look at marine care and conservation. Amidst surprising stories and unexpected encounters, participants are invited to get to know the animals that inhabit the Rei D. Carlos Sea Museum’s reserve and discover what makes them so special. A unique opportunity to catch a glimpse of the unseen side of the ocean… and be filled with wonder.
