Workshop – Building Nest Houses in the Community Garden at Nova SBE
Following the bird identification workshop held at the Community Garden in April, we invite you to take the next step in protecting biodiversity. We’ll build and install nest boxes that will serve as shelter and nesting sites for different species of birds that visit the garden.
What’s included: Building nest boxes, learning about local birds, and installing them in the Community Garden.
The activity will be led by biologists Henrique Afonso and Hélio, who are bird experts and passionate about sharing their knowledge of nature. Henrique is also a nature photographer and was recently recognized by National Geographic for his photographic work.
