Seminar – Sports: A Path to Inclusion!
The Galiza Rugby Academy, part of Misericórdia de Cascais, plans to organize the 4th edition of a seminar that uses sports as a “tool” for inclusion. We believe this will be a forum for sharing ideas, methodologies, strategies, recommendations, and solutions to address and overcome the challenges identified in each community.
At this seminar, we will bring together institutions and organizations that work in and develop various sports and create solutions for the inclusion of different target audiences; we will also welcome several prominent figures who have distinguished themselves at the national and international levels.
This seminar is intended for:
- Social entrepreneurs; sports leaders; coaches; teachers, educators, trainers, psychologists, sociologists, managers, socio-cultural facilitators; instructors, students, and other stakeholders.
Why participate?
We believe that this gathering—where institutions, organizations, and prominent figures who have accepted the challenge of a shared path of reflection proposed by the Galicia Rugby School will share and exchange data, testimonials, and information—can further help us in empowering, valuing, and improving the individual and community well-being of the populations we all serve.
We also believe that this will be a space to reflect on—and at the same time inspire discussion about—the social role of sports.
Participants in this seminar will have:
