From Roots to Art: An Exhibition by Carlos Gomes
The exhibition brings together a collection of handcrafted pieces made from wood, some of which are combined with resin โ materials which, when used together, have made it possible to create unique works. The wood, with its grain, textures and natural forms, inspires each creation, whilst the resin adds colour, shine and new details, making each piece one-of-a-kind.
Each piece on display here was born out of curiosity, creativity and a love of working with oneโs hands to breathe new life into the raw material, highlighting its shapes, textures and unique characteristics. Between the solidity of the wood and the delicacy of the light, each piece reveals a story, a gesture and a unique way of transforming the material into artistic expression.
