Museum Songs - 2nd Edition
As part of the celebrations for World Music Day (October 1), the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum invites the public to a day dedicated to music and folk traditions, featuring various entertainment activities throughout the day.
The program begins at 11:00 a.m. with a musical tour of the museum’s spaces, enriched by the participation of the Tiriri Folk Music Group from the Cascais Musical Society, offering a unique experience where heritage, history, and music come together.
In the afternoon, the sounds of traditional Portuguese folk music will fill the air at 2:30 p.m. with a performance by the Rancho of the Amoreira Folk Music Group.
The program concludes at 3:30 p.m. with the infectious joy of the “Na Palma da Mão” Samba Circle from Festiva Enseada, which will bring rhythm, participation, and good cheer to the museum. An opportunity to enjoy the musical richness of different traditions, celebrate the meeting of cultures, and experience the museum in a special and engaging way.
Note: The musical tour requires advance registration and is limited to 20 participants.
