LYSISTRATA, by Aristophanes
Aristophanes’ "Lysistrata" is the final production of the Acting Course for final-year students at the Cascais Professional Theatre School, now a traditional event at TEC in July, featuring the company’s actors and directed by Manuela Couto.
For young actors in training, this engagement with a text that combines humour, directness and political thought represents a demanding and deeply formative artistic challenge, compelling them to take a clear stance on both the dramatic material and the world it reflects.
