“Rainstick Making” Workshop Tour at the Portuguese Music Museum – Casa Verdades de Faria
The “Rainstick Making” workshop begins with a tour of the permanent exhibition to introduce participants to traditional Portuguese instruments, an experience that extends into the museum’s garden.
In close contact with nature, participants will build a “Pau de Chuva”—a name that, beyond its traditional everyday use, also refers to a musical instrument steeped in history.
This is a hands-on, fun workshop that combines the discovery of musical heritage with creativity and sustainability.
