Description

Cascais will host the French Film Festival between October 14 and 16 at the Cascais Cultural Center Auditorium. Over three days, with two double sessions, we will celebrate this event, now in its 26th edition, which will be presented in 2025 with a new image, a revamped structure, and a program that reflects the diversity and creative vitality of contemporary French cinema.
Organized by the Il Sorpasso Association, the French Film Festival is a platform for France, Portugal, and the French-speaking world to meet and share, celebrating the artistic excellence, innovation, and cultural richness that make French cinema a must-see.
The event is promoted in partnership with the French Embassy in Portugal, the Institut Franรงais du Portugal, and the network of Alliances Franรงaises in Portugal. The festival is also part of MaisFRANร‡A, the program for contemporary French creation in Portugal.

In the Lisbon metropolitan area, it takes place in the municipalities of Lisbon, Almada, and Cascais.
