Cascais cuisine workshop by chef Cláudia Silva Mataloto
The cuisine of Cascais is a reflection of a gastronomic heritage with various influences dating back centuries to the present day. Characterised by a cuisine of ‘Kings and Fishermen’, it is made up of simple recipes and more elaborate ones, with one particular characteristic: the products of the sea and the mountains influence what is best eaten in the region, such as fishing, hunting or even vegetables!
In this gastronomic workshop you'll learn how to make a menu inspired by the sea and the land. We suggest a prawn açorda and fried rabbit, which will be paired with wines from Casca Wines. At the end there will be a marvellous orange tart accompanied by a glass of Carcavelos wine, a perfect combination.
Join us and get to know a little more about the gastronomic richness of this county that we love and love so much.
