“An (Un)Enchanted Evening” Storytelling with Talma and Pedro Leocádio
The Library presents “An (Un)Enchanted Evening” to celebrate Halloween, with Talma and Pedro Leocádio. Aunt and nephew come together to enchant the audience with their tales and songs, in an evening of tales that have flown from generation to generation, accompanied by live music. Some are scary and unsettling, others provoke some fear but also a silly desire to laugh. These tales tell of people who inhabit the imagination of the night: women who turn into skeletons.
Woe, woe if Olharapo comes
And you're at home with no one...
Told in verse, this is a magical and mysterious play about the fear of the dark, shadows and the bogeyman. Olharapo will give little readers chills, but also laughs and surprises with its unexpected ending.
Come and have fun!
