Black and White Digital Photography Workshop
As part of the exhibition "Blackout: A Night in the City," which consists of eight series of 45 photographs displayed at Casa Sommer, the Municipal Historical Archive of Cascais will host this Black and White Photography Workshop. The workshop will be led by Miguel Oliveira and will be offered on three different dates. Its aim is to introduce the basic concepts of digital black and white photography.
At the end of the workshop, each participant will put their learning into practice, using their camera or smartphone to "give wings to their imagination" and creativity, following the rule: "To take good black and white photos, we must think in black and white."
Miguel Oliveira was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1958. He realized early on that his passion is photography and imagery, which became his field of work. He worked for 32 years in television as a cameraman and director. He also worked for several years in television advertising. Miguel conducts professional photography work and has won several awards in exhibitions and specialized magazines.
