Cascais Reading Club - Community of Readers of the Cascais Municipal Library
The Municipal Library of Cascais - Casa da Horta da Quinta de Santa Clara is organizing a new community of readers. Manuel Nunes - who has also been responsible for the Community of Readers at the S. Domingos de Rana Municipal Library for 18 years - is in charge of organizing it.
Just lifting the veil, we can already tell you that the first three sessions will take place under the motto POR ESSES RIOS ACIMA, and will be dedicated to a series of novels in which rivers play a fundamental role in the construction of the narrative plots: "A Selva", by Ferreira de Castro; "O Velho que Lia Romances de Amor", by Luís Sepúlveda; and "Coração das Trevas", by Joseph Conrad.
We invite you to take part in session 0 of this new community of readers at the Municipal Library of Cascais - Casa da Horta da Quinta de Santa Clara and embark, from the very first moment, on this journey that begins BY THESE RIVERS ABOVE!
